Il film di Tarantino è uno slasher in cui il protagonista è Kurt Russel nei panni di un killer che al posto del coltello utilizza un’automobile per uccidere le donne. Rodriguez, invece, ha realizzato un film sugli zombie con Josh Brolin e Rose McGowan.
